Let’s take a trip to Mexico and dive into the history of Cinco De Mayo! In this workshop kids will learn about the history of this joyful Mexican holiday and understand the traditions of other another culture. Children will have the opportunity to create Cinco de Mayo crafts and enjoy Cinco de Mayo snacks. We’ll end with our own Cinco de Mayo celebration! Program taught by Jordan Sheridan, NCCM intern and and Latin American Studies student at St. Lawrence University.
