Kids will explore the geology of the Adirondacks learning about the common rocks, how they were formed, and how to identify them. Dr. Will Rivers will lead the exploration of the geology of the area. Dr. Ron Tavernier will examine the different ways that animals have evolved to survive Adirondack winters. Kids will explore hibernation, migration and adaptations that allow animals to thrive during the winter.
